What I learned ??? ..
Well i learned quite a few facts about things i didnt know about the world such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the arcitecture of Wright, and the haunted housesof New York. All the topics were great and I learned something new today in each one but some things stuck out. The house that was made by Wright located in Florence, Alabama was a shocker and it impressed me because it is still here today and is available for open house to the public. The other thing that interested me the most was the characteristics of the Brooklyn Bridge such as the way it was made, the length, and the way it seperated a state. But overall, the post were good and my fellow classmates did a great job.
Car Culture ..
Cars have gone a long way in life, such as the first few cras that was made such as the eletric car made in the 18th century going into the 19th century. The first car to run a gas was made by Charles and Frank Duryea who were brothers and produced the first gasoline car in the America. They first few cars made in America were not quite in good shape because something was always going wrong with the cars such as body frames, engines, etc. The trials on how to make the perfect car became intense because everyone was trying to find the perfect way to create them in the 18th century but the goal was soon achieved when Henry Ford produced the Model T and i found this out in the Timelife book.
Henry Ford had created the Model T in the 19th century and later on in years, the production of the electric car was vanishing slowly and the gasoline car took over the industry. The cars wasnt as common before the first World War but after the war, more families owned their personal vehicles. The rate of cars own increased even more after World War 11 and close to the end of the 19th century, most of the families had own their own cars.
Henry Ford had introduced the Ford Company which he was vice president of, and he had brilliant ideas on running his business. He knew that all people werent rich and can just buy things easily so he made the Model T affordable and cheap to start his franchise. Mr. Ford didnt pocket his profits, he used the money to make more cars and investing into the business which was great on his part. His major techinique was making the cars affordable to an average American and they sold like, "Hot Cakes" as they said in the 18th century and the process continued with the sells going up and the money coming in quickly, making Ford one of the top industrial leaders.
Henry Ford helped the entire nation with the production he has made with the Model T and it was one of the most most popluar productions to be ever made because the price of it and the qualities that the car broung to the table. Ford had alot of help from various individuals who attempted to make cars because it always was an slight problem and Ford learned from those mistakes and improved them in the best way. After the wars were over, car production became a major factor to the United States and families took it in consideration to purchased a car, or you can say the time has changed and jobs were bettered so they can afford things that they couldnt back in the 18th and 19th century.
Mr. Ford and his creations bettered the world as one because when more people owned cars and more people were on the road, the United States looked at the creation of the National Highway System and more roads and streets were created for the common production of cars. Henry made his last engineer production years before he died and it was the creation of the v-8 engine which has gone a very long way today's world and is a major factor. Years before he died he had sponsored the restoration of an idyllic rural town called Greenville Village. Mr. Ford made nothing but succes in this world threw hard goals he had to accomplish and he has changed the world with the production of his perfect car because without cars, the world would not be fun to live in.
Mrs. Lawson my pictures want upload and ill see you in class to get help on it but everything and every picture is layed out to be put in the post.
